UW-Parkside's production of The Importance of Being Earnest was the first show that I worked on as something more than costume or makeup crew.  The design included lots of faux stone, such as on the floor and garden walls.  I also got to paint things like the ground rows, which were more intricate.  The scenic designer helped me by showing me different techniques of scenic painting that I was previously unfamiliar with and teaching me about washes.
